Day 1 Broadcast

Today marks the first day of ejection into the new Universe!
Congratulations to all of you that have survived the journey through the wormhole hyper jump. In recent news civilizations have found themselves scattered randomly throughout this new Universe. As everyone tries to find their bearings and starts to form a plan for the protection and advancement of their colonies let us remember those of us that did not make the jump.

In other news, with the new Universe we all find ourselves wondering what could be around the next corner; what treasure, glory, honor, or demise might wait in the darkness for each of us? It is up to each civilization to find out!

In recent happenings a space amoeba was spotted in the Theta sector! Casualties were low but losses were made. Let this serve as a warning as to the dangers that can lurk in the darkness of the universe.   Also later this day in Zeta sector an abandoned shipyard was discovered! What civilization might have once owned this? Where are they? What was their demise? The universe demands answers!

Good afternoon survivors! It looks as if our competitors or should I say, champions are getting settled in and getting a feel for the new universe! Shocking news from the night of the first day asteroid monsters were spotted in the Iota sector! The Butt pirates got their butts handed to them with tremendous losses and were sent on their way with their tails tucked between their legs.

In other news, what was with the magnetic impulses being felt and broadcasted from those asteroids? Is it coming from some sort of hidden ancient technology? Or is it an anomaly much like that of the late planet Earth with the Bermuda triangle and that of the Dragons Triangle? The universe wants to know!

Ah, I was just told we have a special treat for our viewers, sending over to our field reporter Jucrisious Abundai where he is currently at the outer edge of the Iota sector asteroids where the monsters were last spotted.
Jucrisious: Thank you Berthusia, it's quiet chilling out here at what seems to be a shock fence surrounding the asteroids.
Berthusia: I imagine it could be pretty chilling out there considering it's deep space.
*Both reporters exchange laughs*
Jucrisious: But back to the subject at hand, I am standing out here gazing out into the asteroids where it seems these monsters have setup dens. In the lower part of your broadcast screen you can see a picture of what these monsters look like!


These creatures seem to only attack once you are within their marked territory, with that being said we still know very little about these things. With no name to call them we are picking out the name Jackaloids. We thought it would be a fitting name seeing as how the first contact with these things got a fleet all kinds of "jacked" up.
*reporters laugh again*
But as we find out more we will send any information back to news headquarters. Back to you Berthusia.

Well with all of this going on you would think it couldn't get any crazier in this new universe we are starting to call home but from what I have heard the Butt Pirates are gearing up to go back in to attack these monsters! Are the Butt Pirates merciless savages that want the last word on a species that seems to just be territorial? Or are they just plain crazy for trying to finish something that has started? We will keep you posted as the events unfold.

Closing up with this broadcast it seems that the other lead civilizations have begun to settle in to their respective "claimed" sectors. However, the Troy Ursians have just used the jump lanes to blast into the Iota sector! How will this play out will the Butt Pirates and Troy Ursians collide or will they find a way to work together? What will be the outcome of this sudden confrontation? Keep tuned to find out.

Good day everyone this is Berthusia Moraymoray with the Universe news. In recent news the Black Flag pirates have been seen in the Iota sector! With a quick temper and short fuse.*haha because pirates once had cannons* They fired upon the exploration crew of the Troy Ursians. Without much hesitation the Troy Ursians have pulled out of the Iota sector and have launched themselves into the Omega sector. This makes two sectors the Troy Ursians have navigated into without the inclusion of their current home sector of Tau.

In other news the "New Evon" have swarmed upon our spacer civilization to conduct a so called security scan. Will the spacers bow down and allow the Vakuu to perform their so called scan? Or will the spacers make an attempt to fight back or flee? Further coverage will tell the tale.

In more savory headlines, The Hegemony of Sangheili has planted another base in the Epsilon sector. It now encompasses Epsilon-4 and 5. What are the plans of the Sangheili? What exactly are they up to?

Other than that, not much else excitement has been recorded. The Butt Pirates seem to be in a headlock with the Jackaloids and the Xerese seem to be keeping to themselves.
